Hyaluronic Acid Reviews

Ever since I started this blog, I’ve been receiving messages from readers asking my do dedicate a post solely to hyaluronic acid reviews… hence the reason for this page.

Let’s take a look at a few of the top selling products which contain adequate amounts of hyaluronic acid:

SkinCeuticals is a pretty big name in the skin care world. They produce a number of specialty skin care products which are considered to be mid-priced. This gel is actually more of a serum and the user is instructed to only use one or two drops at a time. This product also contains skin lightening agents, which you may or may not want.

Pros:
• Great price – this is roughly half the price of some of the other top selling competitors
• Versatile – it’s an oil-free formulation that’s gentle on the skin, so it can be used by mostly everyone

Cons:
• Small bottle – the bottle is only 1 ounce, which is much less than the typical 1.7 oz you expect to see on skin care products

Now Peter Thomas Roth is not a brand I’m very familiar with, so this will be one of my hyaluronic acid reviews I may not be of much help for. However from what I read, it sounds to be a promising product. They claim it contains a concentrated formulation of hyaluronic acid.  It also contains algae extract to help nourish the skin.

Pros:
• Reasonable price – it’s not the cheapest one out there, but the price is still reasonable
• Good Ingredients – from reviewing the ingredient label, it appears to contain quite a bit of good stuff

Cons:
• Small bottle – like the SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel, this is only a 1 ounce bottle.

This is manufactured by iS Clinical, a high-end Los Angeles based skin care company that caters to celebs, cosmetic doctors, etc. Although they have a few different products in the iS Clinical Skincare line, their Youth Complex is considered to be their flagship product. Among all the hyaluronic acid reviews, this is the highest end product currently available.

Pros:
• Fast Acting – offers immediate and long term results.
• Ultra-Potent – the main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, second only to water (which you’ll see first on pretty much all skin care labels)

Cons:
• Price – it’s a bit pricier, but with this, you do get what you pay for
